HH The Amir Chairs Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment Meeting

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, chaired on Wednesday morning the council's first meeting in 2019 at the Amiri Diwan.

HH The Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Chairman of the Council, attended the meeting along with HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Executive Member of the Council and Their Excellences the members of the Council.

The Council discussed topics on the meeting agenda and took the appropriate measures regarding them. The Council also reviewed the latest updates in investment affairs, the work process of the second National Development Strategy 2018-2022. The Council also reviewed a presentation on supporting and promoting local products and the steps taken to encourage national products.
