HH The Amir Receives Speaker of Congress of the Federated States of Micronesia and IPU Asia-Pacific Group

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received on Wednesday at his office at the Amiri Diwan with HE Speaker of Congress of the Federated States of Micronesia and Asia-Pacific Group in the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Wesley Simina and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their visit to the country.

At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency congratulated HH The Amir for the victory of the Qatar National Team in the 2019 Asian Cup. They also reviewed cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and IPU in parliamentary and legislative fields, in light of Qatar hosting the 140th Assembly of the IPU in April.
