His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Thursday left the city of Bamako at the end of an official visit to the Republic of Mali.
Upon departure from Bamako International Airport, HH The Amir was seen off by HE President of the Republic of Mali Ibrahim Boubaker Keita.
In addition, HE Prime Minister Abdoulaye Idrissa Maiga was present along with a number of Their Excellencies ministers and senior officials in Mali, HE the State of Qatar's Ambassador to Mali Abdulrahman Ali Al Kubaisi, HE Mali's Ambassador to Qatar Cheick Ahmed Tidianya, a number of Their Excellencies heads of diplomatic missions in Mali, and staff members of the Qatari embassy.
HH The Amir sent a cable to HE the president of Mali, in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm reception and honor that he and the accompanying delegation received during the visit that provided an opportunity to exchange views on issues of common concern and ways to support and strengthen the friendship and cooperation ties between the two countries in the different fields for the good and interest of the two friendly peoples.
