His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani left the capital Rome on Tuesday, after a two-day state visit to the Italian Republic.
HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure from Fiumicino Airport by HE Minister for Parliamentary Relations and Direct Democracy Riccardo Fraccaro, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Italian Republic Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki, HE Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Qatar Pasquale Salzano and members of the Qatari Embassy.
HH the Amir was accompanied by an official delegation.
HH the Amir sent cables to HE President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella and HE Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Giuseppe Conte, expressing deep thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and honor accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit, which allowed meetings with senior Italian officials, and the exchange of views on issues of common concern and means of strengthening and promoting the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields for the good and the benefit of the two peoples.HH the Amir wished HE the President and HE the Prime Minister the best of health and happiness, and the friendly people of Italy further progress and prosperity.
