At the end of this Summit, it pleases me to express on behalf of the people of the State of Qatar and myself,
our thanks and appreciation for your participation in this summit. We hope that its results will contribute to fulfilling the aspirations of the peoples of the two regions, and in deepening the common ties between them.
This meeting has given us the opportunity to work together on drafting the Doha Declaration,
which is considered as a building brick for a new approach that aims at supporting the strategic relations between the countries of both regions.
It pleases me also in this regard to welcome the initiative of the friendly Republic of Peru to host the third summit of the of Arab and South American States in Lima during the first half of 2011.
In conclusion, I would like to welcome you once again, and to express our appreciation of your efforts which contributed to the positive results that we have achieved.
