We have all worked yesterday and today to address all issues of concern to the Arab nation. We have encountered some difficulties, but we overcame them and a spirit of fraternity prevailed our work, because we were all aware that the interests of the nation is above all else.

      Our decisions were in this context and were marked by the desire to achieve what can be achieved of ambitions and goals. Our deliberations in the closed session were marked by frankness and transparency and this had a very positive impact on the decisions and recommendations we have adopted, hoping that they will have an active role in our joint Arab action for the good of the peoples of our nation.

      I would also like to express our appreciation of the willingness of the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya to host the Arab summit in its twenty-second meeting, and we are confident that the Libyan Jamahiriya will play its usual role in our joint Arab action.

      In conclusion I would like to express our thanks and appreciation of your cooperation, your patience and your constructive and valuable input that contributed to the success of this Summit.

      May God guide us to success for the good and benefit of our nation and its development and progress
