Thank you for inviting me today to address this distinguished audience. I am very happy to have this opportunity to see some old friends, and to make some new ones.

      Many of those friends, of course, come from the worlds of industry and commerce, and I am delighted that a new friend from the world of politics, Mayor Daley, is also here tonight.

      Qatar offers a unique and favorable environment for business. We look forward to cooperating with more American investors, attracted by the increasing incentives we offer. These incentives have helped Qatar succeed in signing a number of agreements with major American and other international companies, that will put more than 60 billion dollars into industries related to natural gas, and open the door for projects in other fields as well.
