Your Majesty, brother Sultan Kabous Bin Saaid,

      At the end of the activities of this successful summit of our Supreme Council and on behalf of my brothers, their highnesses, I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to Your Majesty and your esteemed government and the brotherly Omani people for the hospitality and generosity which we all received during our stay in our second home, the Sultanate of Oman.

      The sincere efforts you exerted in preparing for this summit and conducting its sessions in an efficient manner, led to the success of its activities and the decisions taken to consolidate our brotherly ties, promote our cooperation and achieve integration amongst us, to realize our peoples’ hopes and aspirations.

Majesties and Highnesses,

      It gives me and the State and people of Qatar great pleasure to invite You to hold the coming summit of our Supreme Council in Your second home, Qatar, amongst Your family and friends, who are eager to meet and welcome You, to express the warmest feelings of respect and cordiality, so as to continue our march together, and enhance our Gulf cooperation, thus realizing the high goals for which the council was established.

      Before concluding, I must praise and thank His Excellency Mr. Jamil Al-Hejailan, the General Secretary of the Council, for the valuable efforts he exerted during his term as The General Secretary of the Council, wishing him all the best.

      I would also like to thank the assistants to the General Secretary and employees of the Secretariat General for their contribution in preparing for this session.

      We ask Allah to bless our efforts for the progress and glory of our people, and give us guidance.
